The House
A contemporary house wrapped in terracotta, built around light.
Twelve rooms, a library, a café and a rooftop, gathered into one quiet building on a calmer side of Jaipur — designed to be lived in slowly, not just stayed in.

THE HOUSE
A house that changes with the light.
Nidra Niwas is wrapped in a handcrafted terracotta jali — a screen of clay that filters the Jaipur sun into shifting patterns through the day, and glows softly outward after dark. It's a contemporary house, not a heritage one: clean lines, open volumes, and rooms built around light rather than ornament.
Inside, the house unfolds floor by floor, each landing carrying its own colour and a wall of pictures. The courtyard draws the eye upward to the skylight; the balconies sit behind the screen, half-shaded, quiet.

Dappled light on the balconies behind the terracotta screen.
INSIDE
Everything the house holds.
Beyond the rooms, the house opens into a double-height library of more than 3,000 books, quiet work desks with strong Wi-Fi, a games lounge with console and board games, and Café Awake for specialty coffee. Borrow a book to your room and return it before you check out.
ROOFTOP
City views from the top of the house.
The rooftop terrace opens onto Jaipur — a place for evening light, morning coffee, or simply watching the city from above.
